Police release identity of woman shot, killed in Lauderhill

Witnesses say shooting was result of domestic dispute

LAUDERHILL, Fla. -

Police are looking for the person responsible for shooting and killing a woman in Lauderhill Monday night.

The shooting happened at the Stonebridge Garden Condos, located at 2830 NW 55th Avenue, about 8:30 p.m.

Investigators responding to the scene say they found 39-year-old Adrienne Simmons dead at the foot of an outside staircase.

Police urge anyone with information to contact Broward Crime Stoppers at 954 493 TIPS (8477).
