Police take packages; Courthouse back to normal

Suspicious package
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -

Fort Lauderdale Police retrieved two suspicious package near the federal courthouse.

Police were called to the area of NE 3rd Avenue and Broward Boulevard about 10 a.m. Thursday.

Sky 10 above the area showed the bomb squad there.

Police said the packages were disposed of.

The courthouse has resumed normal operations.

No arrests were made.
