Popular Weston pub hosts festival on St. Patrick's Day

J.G. McGuinness holds 2nd annual Irish Fest

WESTON, Fla. – Weston's popular Irish pub, J.G. McGuinness, is holding a second annual Irish Fest for St. Patrick's Day.

Activities began Friday and end with a full day of events on Sunday.  The three-day Irish celebration is expected to draw more than 3,000 people. The festival features live music, bagpipers, Irish dancers, and local vendors.

Sunday's first event also benefits a good cause. Between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m, a "pints and pancake" breakfast will benefit the US Marine Corp Scholarship Foundation. Live music will continue throughout the day.

J.G. McGuinness' serves coastal and Irish dishes. At the bar, guests can also have their pick of 28 beers on tap.
