Poll: Sen. Nelson leads Rep. Mack by 7%

A Rasmussen Report shows Sen. Bill Nelson (D) ahead of Rep. Connie Mack IV (R) in a poll of registered Florida voters.

The poll, released Friday, shows Sen. Nelson with 47% of the likely vote compared to his republican challengers 40%.

In terms of likeability, the survey indicates that 22% of voters regard Rep. Mack as "very unfavorable." 14% of Florida voters hold a "very favorable" view of the congressman.

21% of voters hold a "very favorable" view of Senator Mack, compared to 18% who hold a "very unfavorable" view.

The margin of error is approximately plus or minus 4.5%.
