La Granja Cutler Bay ordered shut
State records show La Granja Cutler Bay, 19401 South Dixie Highway, was ordered shut by an inspector with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
On May 1, 2012 the inspector noted 15 violations in the restaurant, 11 of which were classified as critical violations. Among them:
"Critical. Observed roach activity as evidenced by live roaches found BY DISHWASHING AREA, LOCATION INSIDE OF KITCHEN 30+ SMALL-MEDIUM."
"Critical. Observed food stored on floor."
"Observed single-service articles stored without protection from contamination."
"Observed food debris accumulated on kitchen floor."
"Critical. Observed toxic item stored in food preparation area."
"Critical. Observed toxic item improperly stored."
