Restaurant Report Card

Slime in the ice machine at a Church's Chicken and rodent activity inside Fritanga Hondunica were some of the violations recently found by a state inspectors at restaurants in South Florida.

According to records obtained by Local 10, Fritanga Hondunica was also ordered shut in February 2012 for rodent issues. Below is a list of some of the violations.

"Observed small flying insects in storage area."

"Observed rodent activity as evidenced by 20 dried rodent droppings found in the kitchen , inside a cooking pot not inverted and beneath a food prep table shelf."

"Observed roach activity as evidenced by 11 live roaches found.1 found in the 3 compartment sink in the kitchen, 7 found on kitchen walls and cracks, 3 found inside and outside of a non- working reach in cooler in a storage room."
