POMPANO BEACH, Fla. -

The Broward Sheriff's Office released surveillance video Wednesday of a rifle-wielding man robbing a 7-Eleven in Pompano Beach.

It happened at 290 Copans Road on Nov. 13.

The men walked into the store and immediately went to the register, said police. One robber demanded everyone get on the floor while the man carrying the rifle dragged an employee behind the counter and told him to open the register.

After he opened the register, the armed robber hit the employee with the rifle. The two men then took the cash and ran off.

The armed robber was last seen wearing a long-sleeve blue shirt, khaki pants, and a blue stocking cap. The second robber, believed to be in his early 30s, is described as about 5 feet 3 inches tall. He was last seen with a mustache, and wearing a black skull cap and black shirt.

A week later, another 7-Eleven in Pompano Beach was robbed.
