Police say Jaret Santa tried to use bogus $100 bill

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. -

Just days before Christmas, Santa was arrested in South Florida.

Boynton Beach Police say Jaret Santa, 22, tried to use a fake $100 bill to buy a $25 gift card at T.G.I. Fridays on Wednesday night.

Santa, who is from Boca Raton, was arrested.

He is charged with possessing a forged instrument.

Santa is being held on $3,000 bond at the Palm Beach County Jail.
