SOUTH FLORIDA -

Hurricane Sandy is disrupting school schedules across South Florida.
Monroe County and Palm Beach counties have cancelled school for Friday. In addition, the Archdiocese of Miami announced its schools would be closed in Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe Counties.
But Miami-Dade and Broward public school schedules will not change. Friday remains a teacher planning day, meaning classes are cancelled, but teachers are expected to report to work.
All after-school activities for Miami-Dade and Broward Counties have been cancelled for Friday.
