A sewer main break in Hollywood was causing problems for drivers on Thursday.

The 30 inch sewer force main along North 24th Avenue between Johnson Street and Lincoln Street broke Thursday afternoon.

The leak forced the city to close that section of North 24th Avenue into the weekend. The intersections of North 24th Avenue at Johnson Street and at Lincoln Street will remain open. Detours could stay in place until Sunday.

City officials said the small leak won't affect sewer or water systems for residents.
