Shooting victim drives self to hospital
BSO: Teenager shot inside home in Lauderdale Lakes
A teenager drove himself to the Florida Medical Center Friday after he was shot inside his own home.
The shooting happened in the 3500 block of NW 36th Street about 3:15 p.m.
The Broward Sheriff's Office said the victim knew the people who were inside his house when he was shot in the arm. The teen first told detectives he was robbed of money he won at a casino, although he would be too young to gamble.
The teenager's condition was not immediately released but BSO said his injuries were non-life threatening.
So far, no arrests have been made.
