FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. ā An airport shuttle was involved in a rollover crash early Sunday morning at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
The crash happened at the southbound US-1 entrance at the airport.
According to the Broward County Sheriff's Office, ten people were on board the shuttle when it was hit by another vehicle.
Six people suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital as a precaution. Four others in the van declined treatment.
Officials said each of them were released in time to catch their flights.
The front wind-shield of the vehicle was left crushed as the packed passenger van was tossed to its side seconds after colliding with the other vehicle.
The bus belongs to Gold Coast Car Rental and Cruise & Fly Parking on US 1 in Fort Lauderdale. The company shuttles travelers between their parking lot and the apartment.
No one from the company wanted to speak on Sunday, but a manager tells Local 10's Terrell Forney their driver was not at fault. Officials said that person was sent home early to recuperate.
There is no word on whether the driver who hit the shuttle was cited.
