Sketch released of man accused of attacking woman
Woman fought back against attacker
The Miami-Dade Police Department has released a sketch of a man who they say attempted to sexually assault a woman before she fought back.
Police say the attack happened on Feb. 6 at around 9:30 p.m.
The victim told police she was walking home from a business near Kendall Drive and Southwest 122 Avenue when she was approached by a man who was yelling obscenities at her. That's when she says the man pulled her into the bushes and attempted to sexually assault her.
Police say during the attack the victim fought back, scratching the man in his face. She was then able to run away.
Police have released a sketch of the man and say he is between 25 and 28 years old, about 6 feet tall, and 200 pounds. He also has dreadlocks. Police say he may also have a noticeable injury to his face from where the victim scratched him.
