Two South Florida ocean rescue lifeguards will compete for Team USA in Utsumi Beach, Japan, in the 6th Sanyo Bussan International Surf Lifesaving Rescue Challenge.

Jen Noonan of Fort Lauderdale Ocean Rescue and Lindsay Kenney of Delray Beach Ocean Rescue will be apart of a 6 woman, 6 man USA surf lifesaving team. Both qualified by placing well at the United States Lifesaving Association’s (USLA) Lifeguard Nationals held in Cape May, New Jersey, this past August.

The competition begins Saturday, September 16 and last through Sunday.
