The entrance to the southbound I-95 Express lanes, located just south of Miami Gardens Drive, will be closed nightly, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday, August 12, through Tuesday, August 14. 

These closures are necessary while workers restripe the southbound lanes in this area. Drivers can enter the express lanes just south of the Golden Glades Interchange.

Nightly closures are scheduled through Tuesday, August 14, but the schedule could change because of rainy weather or other unexpected circumstances.  Electronic signs will notify drivers in advance of these closures.

This work is being done as part of the I-95 Express Lanes Project. They are now working on Phase 2 Construction Project which will convert the existing High Occupancy Vehicle lanes to two express lanes in each direction.
