KENDALL, Fla. -

From baseball cards to fishing rods to jewelry, police asked for help Friday to identify the owners of stolen items recovered from burglaries in Miami Beach and Miami-Dade and Collier Counties.

"This is property that was recovered on a search warrant that we conducted on an individual's house," said Miami-Dade Police Detective Josh Klerman. "There were two arrests made on September 20th by the Miami Beach Police Department on an in progress residential burglary."

The stolen jewelry was recovered after police arrested Enrique Pena, 37, and Idalberto Arias, 40.

According to investigators, Pena and Arias are part of an organized crime group suspected in break-ins across the state.

"As you can see, it's lots of jewelry, miscellaneous items, computers, anywhere from baseball cards, fishing poles, and our goal, like I said, is to identify the property and hopefully make victims whole," said Kerman.

The arrests were made after a joint investigation between the Miami-Dade Police Department, Miami Beach Police Department, various law enforcement agencies with Collier County, and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
