A stray bullet hit a woman in the leg after shots were fired across the street at a nightclub in Lauderdale Lakes.

The shooting happened outside Club X-Tasy Cafe between 4 and 5 a.m. Tuesday.

The Broward Sheriff's Office said a bullet hit the woman at her apartment across the street from the club at 4101 NW. 26th Street.

The bullet was lodged in the door.

"I did see a police car, BSO, here last night when I got up during the night, and I saw it there and I'm going, 'What's going on? What happened?' " said Martha, a neighbor.

The woman, identified as Marjorie Pryce, 44, was transported to Broward Health Medical Center. Pryce had non life-threatening injuries, said BSO. No one else was injured in the shooting.

It's unclear what led up to the shooting.
