Soler, 23, and Duran, 24, were gunned down at a Mobil gas station at 16691 NW 57th Ave. Surveillance video showed an SUV pulling up to a gas pump near Soler's Ford Mustang Cobra. Soler had just finished filling up and returned to his car when a gunman was seen tapping on the window with a gun and forcing him out. Soler showed no resistance, exiting the vehicle with his hands in the air. Moments later, the gunman was seen firing several shots into Soler, killing him instantly, police said.

The video then shows a man pulling Duran out of the car at gunpoint and shooting her. Duran, the single mother of a 6-year-old boy, later died at a hospital.

Police arrested Ellington Tuesday at his aunt's home in Hollywood. Ellington appeared in juvenile court Wednesday, facing two charges of second-degree murder. He was booked into the adult jail at about 10 p.m. Wednesday and appeared in adult court Thursday morning.

Ellington told the judge his family had hired an attorney. He is set to appear in court for a probable cause hearing Friday.

Police said they continue to search for two more people in connection with the fatal shootings. The reward for information leading to an arrest in the case is $10,000.
