Sweet smells: Miami wafts in new perfume
New York among first cities with new perfume
Do you miss South Florida when you're away from home?
Now you'll be able to travel around the world and still be reminded of our sunny backyard by using your sense of smell.
A new company has created perfumes that smell like your favorite city and Miami is one of the first scents on the block.
The Miami-themed Scent of Departure colognes and perfumes are packaged to look like a baggage claim ticket along with the MIA airport code.
The company's website describes MIA Miami as a "coacktail of warm citrus notes playfully sparkling over the waters of South Beach." The scent uses a mixture of Blood Orange, Sweet Orange, Lemon, Yellow Tangerine and Pink Grapefruit along with a heart of Lotus flowers and Freesia.
To remember Miami via smell, it'll cost you $45 for a 1.7 oz. bottle.
