Swim advisory lifted on Virginia Key

The Florida Department of Health lifted the swimming advisory for Dog Beach on Virginia Key.
Previous water samples collected at the beach exceeded the standard for enterococci, a type of bacteria.
Samples collected Thursday were considered satisfactory, according to the department.
