Screeners for the Transportation Security Administration stopped a loaded gun from making it onto a flight from South Florida.
The TSA said the screeners found the loaded .45 caliber handgun you see in the above picture in a carry-on bag at Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport on Saturday.
In total, the TSA found 47 guns in carry-on baggage across the country in the last week. Of those 47 guns, 38 were loaded.
We here at Local 10 track this every week and this was the most guns seized in one week in as long as we can remember.
