TAMARAC, Fla. -

Beth Flansbaum-Talabisco has been reinstated as the mayor of Tamarac.

Flansbaum-Talabisco was removed from office in March after an arrest warrant accusing her of the charges of unlawful compensation, bribery, official misconduct and conspiracy to commit unlawful compensation.

At the time, she was accused of secretly accepting thousands of dollars in bribes from high-profile developers.

A Broward County judge tossed the charges earlier this month, saying there was no evidence that Flansbaum-Talabisco benefited personally.

Gov. Rick Scott issued an executive order Tuesday restoring Flansbaum-Talabisco to her position.
