Voters are going to the polls today in Florida, in the biggest primary yet in the Republican race for the White House. Polls show Mitt Romney ahead of Newt Gingrich with probable voters in the state.

A Los Angeles elementary school teacher allegedly took bondage photos of more than two dozen students in his classroom, including some with suspected semen-filled spoons at their mouths. Authorities say the children thought they were being blindfolded and gagged as part of a game.

Home-Prices

Home prices posted a steep, month-over-month drop in November, falling 1.3%, according to the latest S&P/Case-Shiller price index. Prices are down 3.7% from a year ago and nearly 33% since the peak in 2006.

Segregation-Decline-Study

Segregation of African-Americans in cities and towns across the United States has dropped to its lowest level in more than a century, according to a recent study. The findings, gleaned from census data show that "all-white neighborhoods are effectively extinct" and that black populations in urban ghettos are in decline.
