A thief was caught on camera crawling on his back to steal a pricey piece of equipment from a tractor-trailer, according to Broward Sheriff's Office deputies.

Surveillance video shows a man get out of a white SUV, the get on his back underneath the cab of a truck parked at Lou's Super Service in West Park.

The man managed to remove the truck's engine control module, valued at $15,000.

The owners discovered the module missing the next morning after the truck wouldn't start.
