AVENTURA, Fla. -

For the second time in seven days, thieves were caught on camera burglarizing an h. h. gregg electronics store. The latest hit was in Aventura 19925 Biscayne Boulevard early Thursday.

The bandits broke in at 5:07 a.m. Aventura police arrived at 5:09 a.m., and found the front door and frame had been broken, the store burglarized, and the thieves were gone.

"They're very determined. They know exactly where they're going. They pass up high end computers to get to exactly what they were looking for," said Aventura Police Major William Washa, Jr.

They were looking for digital cameras and high-end headphones, including Beats by Dr. Dre.

"They're very calculated. They're very well-planned. They know what they want," said Washa.

The surveillance tape showed two cars pull up in front of the store. Then several of them got out, and busted the front glass doors with one man reaching through and attaching a hook to the inside gate. At the other end of the hook was a cable attached to a hitch on one of the cars. The driver hit the accelerator and the front gate was pulled back, giving the thieves plenty of room to get in and out.

"This, I think was an order. Some fence said, 'I don't need anymore laptop computers. I need cameras. I need headsets. Christmas is coming up . These are things that I can get rid of quickly,'" said Washa. "So, I'm sure they're provided some sort of an outlet."

The amount of merchandise stolen was not immediately released.

Police believe Thursday's robbery in Aventura is likely linked to the one last week at a h. h. gregg in Hialeah. Investigators said the group may also be responsible for several others throughout the state.

The store reopened after hours of repairs.
