Thousands of flights canceled across country due to nor'easter

NYC's three major airports and Boston's Logan Airport remain closed

If you're traveling to the Northeast today, it's best to check on your flight status before heading to the airport. The behemoth snow storm has caused airlines to cancel thousands of flights through today. New York City's three major airports and Boston's Logan Airport remain closed.

At Miami International Airport, all flights arriving from and departing to New York and Boston have been canceled for today. Flights to and from Connecticut have also been canceled as well as some flights to and from Chicago and to and from Toronto, Canada.

At Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport; New York, Connecticut and Boston flights are canceled. In Newark, New Jersey some flights have been canceled while others are scheduled to arrive and depart on time.
