Trial continues in missing Fla. foster child case after jury sees defendant TV show appearance

MIAMI -

The third week of testimony is wrapping up in the murder trial of the caretaker of missing South Florida foster child Rilya Wilson.

Jurors on Wednesday heard from police investigators and were played a video of 66-year-old Geralyn Graham's 2002 interview on ABC's "Good Morning America." Graham insisted then and now that a state child welfare worker took the girl for mental tests and never returned her.

Testimony continues Thursday.

Rilya was 4 years old when she went missing, but her disappearance wasn't discovered by the state for over a year. Miami-Dade homicide Det. Chris Stroze testified Wednesday that investigators uncovered very little evidence in searches of Graham's home.

Graham was eventually charged with Rilya's murder after jailhouse snitches say she confessed to them. Rilya's body has never been found.
