Crews work to repair power lines, water lines after crash

NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. -

U.S. 441 reopened after a car crash early Monday morning.

Police say the driver lost control of the car and hit a power line near Bailey Road about 5 a.m. The victim suffered only minor injuries, but the roadways were shut down as crews worked to repair power lines and a water line.

Investigators report this was a single car crash and the roads reopened about 8:40 a.m.
