MIAMI -

Less than 24 hours after he was arrested for running an unlicensed dental office out of his home, a Miami man bonded out of jail early Thursday morning.

Local 10's Sasha Andrade was at the jail when 81-year-old Humberto Perez left the jail.

The Perez family refused to answer reporters' questions as they ushered the elderly man away from the media and into a pickup truck. Perez then covered his face with a blanket and turned away from cameras.

According to investigators, Perez had set up a makeshift dental office inside his home and employed his wife and daughter. Perez, Maria Perez, and Odalis Hernandez-Perez were all arrested. All three were arrested on Thursday.

Maria Perez and Odalis Hernandez-Perez bonded out on Wednesday night.

According to investigators, the family of a 14-year-old girl couldn't afford a dentist so they went to Perez to get the girl's chipped tooth fixed. Perez then allegedly put a bridge and implants on the teen's front teeth. During the procedure, the girl told Humberto Perez she was in pain, but he continued with the procedure.

Humberto and Maria Perez were charged with aggravated child abuse, child neglect, unlicensed practice of a health care profession, and unlicensed practice of dentistry, and proprietorship by a non-dentist. Odalis Hernandez-Perez was charged with child neglect.

Detectives believe there may be additional victims that have yet to still come forward.
