Video shows Super Bowl shooting

1 killed, 2 injured in drive-by shooting in Miami Gardens

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Gardens Police Department released video showing a fatal drive-by shooting at a Super Bowl party.

The shooting happened outside a home on Northwest 204th Street and 23rd Avenue on Sunday evening. Brandon Bryant, 25, was killed and his brother and father were injured.

"He's our baby. He always been our baby," said Nina Packer, Bryant's aunt. "It's really difficult to endure this."

Video showed a red, 2012 VW Jetta GLI pull up in front of the house and a gunman open fire from the back seat with an AK-47. Another passenger in the back seat fired a rifle, say police.

A passenger then got out and began firing a TEC-9, a type of automatic weapon.

Up to 50 bullet casings were found outside the house.

Bryant was a father of 15-month-old and 4-month-old child.

"We need you to come forward. Dial that number and say something. I grew up in this neighborhood. Someone knows these people when you see this video," said Packer. "I'm asking as an aunt for anyone to come forward so that justice can be served."

Pastor Eric Readon of New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church is matching Broward Crime Stoppers $1,000 reward for information in the case.

"To every family out there -- today, this is somebody else's. Tomorrow, it could be your family," he said. "I need everybody to step up, pick up the phone, call Crime Stoppers if you know anything about this. Let's stop the no snitching policy. Let's talk about it."

Bryant's brother and father are recovering at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Both are expected to survive.

Anyone with information is asked to call Miami Gardens Police at 305-474-1400.
