Police in Homestead are investigating after a woman was found dead with stab wounds in a home.

Police said a man showed up to Homestead Hospital on Wednesday complaining of injuries he had sustained.

What he told detectives led them to investigate a home at 1405 SE Sixth St.

A woman was found dead with stab wounds inside that home.

The man's connection to the death, if any, is unclear.
