NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. (AP) — Authorities in Pasco County say a woman's body was discovered floating in a canal by her husband.

The sheriff's office said the body was found Monday in New Port Richey. The woman is believed to be in her 70s. A sheriff's office statement says there were no obvious signs of foul play.

No further information has been released.
