A woman snatches an expensive watch seconds after the owner leaves it in a security bin at the Broward County Courthouse, as seen in surveillance video released Saturday.

In the video, you can see a man walk away from the checkpoint area, forgetting to collect his $2,200 watch. The woman behind him snatches up the watch seconds later and walks away.

Many security officers and sheriff's deputies were in the area during the theft.

This is strikingly similar to an event at Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport last February. That time, a man swiped a gold Rolex moments after the person in front of him walked away without collecting it. That man was caught after his mugshot was put on TV.

Police say this is stealing and the woman could face grand theft charges if she is found.
