Woman wanted in Nov murder
Grand jury indicts Danielle Sachs on first-degree murder charge
The Broward Sheriff's Office is looking for a woman in connection with an October murder.
On Thursday, a grand jury issued an indictment for Danielle Sachs on one count of first-degree murder.
Sachs, 33, is accused of killing Jeffrey Blaugrund, 70, on or around Oct. 15. Police say Blaugrund picked up Sachs and Jonathan Forster, 27, her boyfriend, at a Wendy's restaurant in Fort Lauderdale and offered them a place to stay for the night.
No one heard from or saw Blaurgrund until deputies responded to his home on Nov. 1. Deputies found the apartment had been ransacked, and his body was discovered inside. Investigators believe he was killed during a robbery.
The Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office determined Blaugrund died of asphyxia and ruled the case a homicide.
On Thursday, the grand jury also indicted Forster, who was arrested on Dec. 5, with first-degree murder.
Anyone with information about Danielle Sach’s whereabouts or Jeffrey Blaugrund’s homicide is asked to call 911.
