A construction worker was pinned by a piece of construction equipment after an accident in Doral.

It happened at Northwest 25th Street and 78th Avenue about 11:30 a.m. Monday.

The worker was thrown out of a piece of equipment when it tilted, said city officials, pinning him underneath a roller painting machine. Sky 10 above showed several fire rescue units at the site.

The worker was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital. The extent of his injuries wasn't immediately released.
