Absentee ballots mailed out in Miami-Dade

MIAMI - The first round of absentee ballots were mailed out in Miami-Dade County.

About 172,000 voters had requested absentee ballots, roughly on par with the 2008 presidential election.

Voters have until October 31st to request one.

The county will be paying for the postage when the ballots are returned.
