WEST PARK, Fla. -

A two-vehicle crash sent a pickup truck into the Trio motel Monday morning, and the drivers of both vehicles to the hospital.

The crash happened at Southwest 25th Street and S.R. 7 about 4 a.m. The road reopened at 8:30 a.m.

Surveillance video captured the truck slamming into the motel.

"It's bad. It's really bad," said Pat Patel, the motel's owner. "According to that wall, it looks like they were really driving fast."

Police say the driver of the stolen truck ran a stop sign and hit a sport utility vehicle. Both drivers were taken to the hospital but their conditions weren't immediately released.

Police searched the area for a passenger who reportedly ran out of the truck after the crash.

No one inside the motel was injured.
