Once there, police said Johnson's mother took one of her other children to the bathroom and left the two-year-old boy in the care of two known acquaintances, identified by FDLE as 41-year-old Jerome Brown and 36-year-old Juanita Rodriguez.

Once the mother returned, Johnson was missing along with Brown and Rodriguez, who police said did not have authorization to take the child.

The mother immediately called police and due to the circumstances, police said an Amber Alert was issued.
