Apartment unit fire leads to flooding

Residents evacuated

MIAMI ā€“ The first floor of an apartment building at 490 Northeast Second Ave. flooded Tuesday after a unit caught fire and the sprinkler went off.

Officials said a control valve then failed to evacuate the water, causing it to back up on the first floor. It then began backing up onto other floors.
