One person has been arrested after an accident in the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 at Miami Gardens Drive.
The crash happened about 6 a.m. Friday. Florida Highway Patrol said a Browad Sheriff's Office deputy came upon the accident and stopped to help.
Police said the driver of one car was very combative. He was consequently taken into custody and involuntarily committed under Florida's Baker Act law.
All northbound lanes of I-95 were closed in that area for a period of time, causing major delays to Friday morning commuters. All lanes have since reopened.
