Arrest made in Miami Beach stabbing

Police say altercation stemmed from sale of iPod, iPhone

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – An arrest has been made in the stabbing of a man in Miami Beach early Wednesday morning.

Aywar Goeloe, 26, faces a charge of attempted second-degree murder.

According to an arrest report, Goeloe and the victim got into an argument over the sale of an iPod and iPhone about 4 a.m. in the 200 block of 14th Street.

Police said the argument turned physical, during which time Goeloe stabbed the victim several times.

According to the report, surveillance video captured the attack and showed Goeloe drop his wallet, which contained his ID, as he ran away.

The victim was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital where he underwent surgery. He remains in critical condition.
