MIRAMAR, Fla. – An athletic event to benefit Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital is planned for Feb. 22nd.
"Tour de Broward" includes a walk, a run and two cycling challenges. It also features a "Power of Play" event just for kids who are 13-years-old or younger.
Same-day registration will be available, but participants are encouraged to submit their $10 to $40 fees ahead of time on the event's website.
It is set to begin at 7 a.m., at Miramar Regional Park, 16801 Miramar Parkway. Those who can't participate, but wish to help are welcome to sign up as a "virtual participant" with a $19.92 fee.
