MARGATE – A 16-month-old girl was pulled from a pool Wednesday at a home located at 6122 South Gate Boulevard.
Fire rescue says the girl was found unconscious in the pool behind the home.

According to Local 10's Todd Tongen, who is at the scene, the child's mother pulled her out of the pool.
Margate police officers responded to the scene and performed CPR until firefighters arrived.
The child was taken to Northwest Medical Center and then moved to Plantation General where she is listed in critical condition.
