Game play not impacted for Sony Open tennis tournament

KEY BISCAYNE, Fla. – An unattended bag at the Sony Open tennis tournament Tuesday night has been deemed safe after a bomb squad was called to investigate.

Miami-Dade police said the backpack was left outside the tournament entrance in Key Biscayne.

The situation did not impact game play taking place inside for the Sony Open tennis tournament.

All pedestrian and vehicle movement that was stopped during the investigation of the item has resumed back to normal.

No other details were provided.
