AVENTURA, Fla. – Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews responded Wednesday morning to a hazardous spill off Aventura.
Authorities said a boat leaked diesel fuel into the water in the area of 20946 NE 37th Ave.

Crews are working to prevent the spill from spreading any farther and have placed booms in the water.
A cleanup crew was also called in to handle the spill.
It's unclear what caused the leak.
