Accused child molester to remain out of jail, Broward County judge rules

Judge says Louis Bianculli didn't violate terms of bond

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Accused child molester Louis Bianculli will remain out of jail after a Broward County circuit judge ruled Thursday that he didn’t violate the terms of his bond.

Prosecutors said Bianculli, who routinely used a cane while in court and was released from jail so he could receive knee surgery, was in violation based on a video showing him walking about his backyard without that cane and even fishing .

But Judge Michael Usan ruled in Bianculli's favor, saying that he was allowed to exercise in the jail.

Bianculli was released from jail last year on a $1 million bond.

He is accused of repeatedly knocking out his former stepdaughter with chloroform and plastic bags and sexually abusing and torturing her over several years, beginning when she was 12 years old.

More victims have come forward with similar allegations that date back five decades.
