Body found floating in Broward County lake where car crashed

3 killed after car veers off road, plunges into water

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – A woman's body was found Wednesday morning floating in a Broward County lake where a car crashed, killing three people.

The discovery was made about 9 a.m. in the lake near Northwest 29th Avenue and Northwest 14th Street.

Family members of Lucienne Pierre said it was the 26-year-old woman whose body was found.

Keiontae Meyers, 20, was driving home from a nightclub early Monday when the red Jaguar veered off the road and went into the lake near Fort Lauderdale.

His three passengers, including Pierre and her stepsister, Jasmine Davis, 23, died.

"Our heart is broken, but on the other side, we are rejoicing because now we know," mother Marcia Derby-Davis said. "We can finally put Lucienne and Jasmine to rest."

Family members gave investigators descriptions of Pierre's tattoos that helped them to confirm her identity.

Jarvis Mosley, 21, also died in the crash.

Meyers is the sole survivor. No charges have been filed.
