MARGATE, Fla. – The body of a man who was found floating in a canal in Margate on Monday has been identified as that of Ricardo Barron-Reyes, 56, of North Lauderdale.
Police said Reyes' body was found by a boater in a canal in the 100 block of N. State Road 7.

Investigators with both the Margate Police Department and the Broward County Medical Examiner's Office responded to the scene.
The medical examiner's officer is investigating the cause of death, but authorities said there were no signs of foul play.
