FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The School Board of Broward County on Tuesday extended Superintendent Robert Runcie's contract through Oct. 4, 2019.
Runcie began working in Broward County in 2011.

"The District has made incredible strides over the past two years but there is much more work to be done," he said in a statement. "I look forward to continuing our focus on providing a world-class education to all students."
