MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A brush fire at the Rockdale Pinelane Preserve prompted the closure of a section of Southwest 92nd Avenue in Miami-Dade County.
Sky 10 was overhead Friday afternoon as flames could be seen in a wooded area across from some homes, although no evacuations were ordered.
The fire was about 10 acres. It was about 75 percent contained.
A stretch of Southwest 92 Avenue was closed between Southwest 144th and Southwest 150th streets as firefighters battled the flames.
Firefighters were continuing to monitor for hot spots throughout the night.
